The Sower's Road

Linear processes are everywhere in everyday life.  They achieve reason and order. Farmers sow fields by spreading seeds handful at a time, gravity and distance split them up into spaces. I approached this piece using sand as seeds ‘sown’ onto the glass, then letting the direction of physical forces to create the tail lines behind them. The 3 panels represent 3 different areas where this has naturally occurred and the viewer will often see their own meaning to the blocks.
